Attention Officers!
If an individual is being released on a Notice to Appear (NTA), Original Signed and Notarized paperwork MUST BE SENT to the Kane County Circuit Clerk's office. Address: 540 So Randall Rd., St. Charles, IL 60174
If seeking a Warrant or Summons on a case, you will need to appear before a Judge at the Kane County Judicial Center. You MUST bring the original signed and notarized paperwork with you and file with the Clerk in the courtroom that day. You should appear before the Judge as soon as possible after filing the case, but no longer than seven (7) days.
If you make an error and realize if after submitting the paperwork, and you submit the paperwork again and get a NEW case number, please contact us immediately at one of the email addresses below for us to delete the first case.
If you file a case, then decide not to move forward on the case for any reason, please notify us at one of the emails below and we will delete the case.

If Defendant is released on Felony NTA - court date should be set no sooner than 28 days but no more than 35 days after the arrest, on a Thursday at 9am before the assigned Judge.
