Deputy Clerk:
Are you a person who enjoys working with the public with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service?  Do you have, communication, problem solving and data entry skills? The Circuit Clerk’s Office may be an excellent career for you.  Strong computer skills are a must as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), ZOOM, use of email and the ability to navigate around and use many other software applications used by the office and courts.  Applicants must be able to type at least 35 wpm with accuracy.  Must have extensive data-entry skills, strong math skills, money handling, filing and phone (call center) experience.  Must enjoy working with the public and providing customer service in person, by telephone, email, mail or chat.  Be able to multi-task and handle large workload(s) with attention to detail while meeting statutory recordkeeping responsibilities of the job.  Have the ability to work independently and as a team to accomplish varied assignments. Be able to work under pressure.  Be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds.  This position requires local travel to the various Kane County Court buildings using your personal vehicle.  Applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle with the proper vehicle insurance and current vehicle registration.  High school degree or GED required. 

This is a non-exempt position.  The deputy clerks are represented thru American Federation State County Municipal Employees - AFSCME.

Monday – Friday 7.5 hours per day 37.5 hour work week. 

$19.50 per hour.  Annual gross $38,025.00 no end range.  Pay increases are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME. ​

Are you a person who enjoys working with the public with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service? Do you have, communication, problem solving and data entry skills? The Circuit Clerk’s Office may be an excellent career for you. We currently have an opening in our Financial Support team. Strong computer skills are a must as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), ZOOM, use of email and the ability to navigate around and use many other software applications used by the Circuit Clerk’s office. Applicants must be able to type at least 35 wpm with accuracy. Must have broad knowledge and background of accounting principles and best practices, strong arithmetic skills, money handling, ability to work with numbers and create spread sheets, ability to understand and use common accounting/finance terminology, proficient in running a calculator, have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize and follow-up own activities and assigned projects, be a self-starter and motivated to work with minimal supervision and have the ability to multi-task. Have the ability to work independently and as a team player to accomplish varied assignments. Be able to work under pressure. Be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds. This position may require local travel using your personal vehicle. Applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle with the proper vehicle insurance and current vehicle registration. Must have (2) two years’ experience in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

This Financial Support team position is an Exempt position.
