Firearms Owners Identification card (FOID) Denied

If your FOID card application was denied and you wish to appeal it, you may eFile your denial paperwork from the Illinois State Police (plus any supporting documentation you may have) using case type MR – Review of Administrative Proceedings and there is a filing fee. For a current list of fees, please check the Fee Schedule that is on this site. Once eFiled, your paperwork will come back with a case number and a Case Management date.
